Currently, we are training the 52 villagers women and girls all together, our

sewing teachers are very skilled and trying their best to teach the villagers women. Mostly the young girls are taking part in it. Many girls come after school. Our aim is that they have at least some skills, and it will be very helpful for the younger generation to start something new after school and can give some jobs to the local community.

Life is very difficult forwomen in rural areas, especially in mountainous ranges. Therefore, these women are very limited in what they are able to do and the opportunities given to them. This is because of the lack of resources available to them and the opportunities given to them for providing for their families. Most women from remote rural areas are in the field by day farming and return back home in the evening to prepare food for their families. This in time creates a dilemma where the women are limited by their daily regimen and therefore, are never given the opportunity to grow and learn new skills. At the H.E.L.P.S Organization we have seen these needs and are introducing these women to income generating programs with sewing and awareness programs for the vitality of the women and their families. As a result, the growth in the opportunities of the community in both Sanji and Jordi Village increases as more and more women are empowered by this program. H.E.L.P.S Organization continues to empower women through the vital skill of learning to sew and the opportunities that encompass that knowledge, in addition to providing awareness programs to inform the women of recent beneficial developments.

Nasreen Daliya is the head director for the Women’s Development Programs at H.E.L.P. S Organization and has been teaching the women in rural villages the important skill and technique of sewing. This sewing training program provides the women in remote villages the resources an

d training to assist in empowering the women to have the freedom and capability to earn extra income for their families. This enables the women to have the option of accomplishing great skills that will further their lives and their families lives. At H.E.L.P.S Organization we IMG_0072do not take lightly the importance of the women’s role in society and the household and therefore, believe women should have more opportunities to further their lives through skill set training, such as sewing, and education.

The empowerment of women which helps them to take their own decisions by breaking all personal limitations of the society and family As we are not unknown   by the hard life of mountain’s women. Their every morning start with heavy burden. Now changing coming in their life since many of the villagers understood the value of education and has been started to send their daughters to school. We all know that girls are now doing better at school than boys. The annual results of Secondary and Higher Secondary Board examinations reveal this fact. More women are getting degrees than men, and are filling most new jobs in every field. But still we need hard work to empower to women. Still in remote area need to bring awareness in this area. Organization started to teach villagers women to become a strong hold in their family and important of their roll to improve families conditions. We are started to teach some skills, which can help them to earn some income for their life and family.
